Anise BP Essential Oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties and is originated in China. It is a warm and peppery essential oil that has a pungent liquorice-like smell. This essential oil is often used in aromatherapy as it aids digestion while assisting migraines and headaches. Anise essiential oil can be used as an ingredient in the treatment of head lice . The steam distillation process is used for extracting this essential oil from the dried ripe fruits and seeds.
Bay Essential Oil with its antiseptic and warming properties, this traditional essential oil provides abundant benefits. Often used in aromatherapy treatments, the Bay Essential Oil deeply conditions your hair while boosting hair growth. It is also used for treating dandruff. Bay essential oil helps to ease out joint pains and muscle problems like sprains, bruises and certain ulcers. It is recommended to use at less than 0.9% as excess usage can cause skin sensitization.
Bergamot Calabrian comes from the fruit produced by the Bergamot tree. The rind is cold pressed to release the oil which has a fresh, fruity sweet aroma with a slightly spicy balsamic undertone. Blend with lavender, neroli, jasmine, cypress, geranium, lemon, chamomile, juniper, coriander and violet. Helps with Relief of insomnia & mild anxiety
Black Pepper is steam-distilled from the peppercorn berries of the piperceae tree.. The aroma of black pepper is intense, slightly sharp, spicy, musky and warm. Black pepper oil can be blended with peppermint, clove and wintergreen essential oils then combined with fractionated coconut oil to make a muscle rub or can be used to make a salve instead. Use in small amounts as it can be an irritant to sensitive skin.
Carrot Seed oil has a pungent, sweet scent with fresh herb like top notes but with dry woody undertones. It is thick and a yellow to brown colour.
Used in skin care products this oil is reputed to nourish, tighten and rejuvenate the skin whil improving overall skin tone and elasticity. It is said to slow the progression of visible wrinkles.
When used in a massage oil blend carrot seed oil can aid painful muscles. It blends well with bergamot, juniper, lavender, lemon, lime, cedarwood and geranium.
Do not use during pregnancy or if you suffer with asthma or epilepsy as this oil can occasionally trigger a reaction.
Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica has a wonderful sweet, woody scent that was originally extracted for embalming purposes. The oil is steam distilled from the trunk and branches sourced from Morocco. Use at a maximum of 1.5% in leave on products such as creams and lotions. Atlas Cedarwood is reputed to be of benefit to acne, arthritis, bronchitis, coughing, cystitis, dandruff, dermatitis and stress. It is said to tighten the pores of the skin and even out the skin tone and when used in face washes, lotions and moisturisers can aid oily skin Used in shampoo it may stimulate hair follicles and relieve dry and itchy scalp.

It may be used in a wide range of cosmetics including soap. In soap it is often used in discrete amounts to anchor scents which may otherwise fade as it is one of the best scent fixatives available.
